The main function of the LiveMedia library is implemented on a variety of media types and coding format support. The paper presents development of video on demand server based on LiveMedia and improved cycle patch algorithm. The test curve showed that patch cycle algorithm can provide service for more users in the same bandwidth, can effectively increase the number of concurrent users.
