Curve let transform is effective in presenting line and surface property of image. In the proposed algorithm, Curvelet transform is employed for the first stage, then according the theory of image demising method based on Wavelet transform, we combine Window Shrink and BayesShrink denoising algorithm to perform noise reduction. Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm is competitive to Wavelet transform in terms of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and denoising image quality.
