The theory ofinformationsearchingbehaviourused inthis studyisthe theory ofinformation-searching behaviourbyDavidElliswithqualitativeandcase study method. The results ofthe studythat has beendone showsthat, (1) stagesof informationsearchingbehaviourperformedbystudentsstarted by startingby setting upa smallnote, chainingbyseekinformationthroughthe bibliography, browsingbyusing theGoogle search engineandthe use ofjournals, ebooksandspecificdomains, differentiatingby selectingthe keywordsof an information, monitoringby using theupdatest information, extractingbysummarizestheuse ofquotationsandextracting the sub-chapterin the book, verifyingtodetermine thequality of theinformationbased onaccurate, relevant, andthe actual through endingphase, preparedhardfile and softfile by the papers form; (2) information resourcesused by the studenttoseek forinformationthe library(faculty libraryandcollegelibrary) andthe internetby usingsearch engines; and (3) differences ininformationsearch behaviour is onstudentclass of 2011 throughstages: starting, browsing, monitoring, extracting, verifying, andendingwithout getting by chaining process. While thestudents of2012 and2013getting by allstages ofthe processby startingup to the endingwithoutskippinganother stage
