Interjections in Japanese called kandoushi. Kandoushi is a word used to express a particular emotion of the speaker. For students, kandoushi is very difficult to understand, it happen because kandoushi have many kind and which is have similar meaning but have different functions depending on the context of the conversation. This method uses qualititative method, it uses to describe functions of kandoushi in a film. "Kindaichi Shonenno Jikenbo Hongkong Kowloon Satsujin Jiten" is a film telling about a young detective called Kindaichi who solved a murder case. In this film founded many kinds of kandoushi, they are impression, calling, and response. 1. Impression. Some expressions of happy, sad, surprised, etc. Example; e, haa, nanda, etc. 2. Calling. Expressions used to calling for the listener's attention. Example , oi , hora, kowa, etc. 3. Response. Expressions when we reaction to a question, experience.
