The primary data are taken from a novel 1Q84 written by Haruki Murakami. This results on how to choose the verb of "yarimorai" based on context and the relationship with social status of the native speakers with their interlocutors. In addition, the use of verb -te sashiageru, -te kudasaru as well as -te idaku are used to give and accept kindness from honorable people, while the verb of -te ageru, -te yaru, -te kukeru and -te morau are used for giving and accepting the kindness from friends with the same age or under. Keywords : Yarimorai, sosiopragmatik study, uchi-soto.
