The writer chose the title because of the adverb sugu, hayaku, sassoku has the same meaning in Indonesian is 'segera' so it is necessary to investigate differences in the use of the adverb sugu, hayaku, sassoku and to find out whether the three adverbs are interchangeable. The first step taken in writing this thesis which collects data through a variety of sources, then the writer sort the data and analyzes it using descriptive technique and the technique of substitution. Adverb sugu has explained the meaning of a state that does not spend a long time, has a meaning similar to kantan ni, then describe a very close distance. Adverbhayaku meaning describe a state earlier than usual time, it could also describe a thing done in a short time. Adverbhayaku is more often used when non-formal situations. While adverbsassoku used to describe an action that is to be done without wasting time, the situation can usually be controlled by yourself or something that has seemingly obvious short time occurrence. Adverbsassoku is more often used when formal situation. Adverbsassoku rarely used for chatting, more often used for writing. Keywords : Adverbia sugu, hayaku, sassoku
