The purpose of this research is to explain structure factor in the Hashire Merosu short story and characteristic of leadership as reflected in the main character of Hashire Merosu short story. This research tried to described that the Merosu character in the Hashire Merosu short story have the characteristic of leadership on himself. This research focused on the characteristic of leadership analysis in the main character Hashire Merosu short story. This research used structure methodology. Then, used equipping literature study method, data classification of instrinsic element and leadership element. In the last, data presentation with descriptive of analysis. Result of this research was representated 19 of 21 in the good characteristic of leadership. If the explored again, Merosu was not became a leader and had not worked in the another places. But he was an ordinary person and life with simple of view. That situation inverted compared of the king with cruelty.In the conclusion, Merosu have the good characteristic of leadership in the Hashire Merosu short story.
