520 |a Jember is an agricultural district, located in the province of East Java. As an agricultural area, the majority of the population livelihood is agriculture. Analysis of potential agricultural land is necessary, as with the analysis we can find out information about farmland and can predict that yields a harvest and appropriate land use recommendations, and thus obtain maximum yields to feed the area. Mapping the potential of agricultural land use Geographic Information System can also help in deciding the proper planting time, determine the type of plants that should be planted in accordance with the indicators of agricultural ie soil pH levels, agricultural land includes wetlands, dry land, and annual plants, location geographical area that includes the highlands and lowlands, as well as climatic conditions include temperatures. Planning planting schedule based agricultural potential equalization agricultural produce and allow for price stability in the market for agricultural products in Jember. Scheduling time of planting different in every district in Jember proportional to the number of agricultural products that are needed in a region and assist in controlling the circulation of agricultural products, so there is no shortage or surplus of agricultural products which may affect the regional economy.
