Description
Summary:Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika, Vol. 4 No.1, Juni 2015, hal 93 - 97
The model of learning ROPES is a learning model that emphasizes on capability and active role of the students to understand the subject matter through a series of activities that are intact and inter-related. The talking stick technique is a technique in the process of learning the lesson that using a stick as a pointer and turn teachers prepare for a question that should be answered by the students who hold the sticks. The purpose of this research is to examine the results of student learning by using learning ROPES with the technique of Talking Stick higher than learning models that do not use ROPES with a technique of Talking Stick. In addition to examining the process of science skills of students with a learning model using ROPES with the technique of Talking Stick better than learning models that do not use ROPES with a technique of Talking Stick. Method of data collection in this research include observation, documentation and tests. Data source derived from the assessment by the researcher, observer, assessment and post-test. Data analysis using Independent Samples T-test to answer the points from the first and second issues. The results of research and data analysis research hypothesis test 1 test results showed that the Independent Samples T-test acquired Sig. (2-tailed) for 0.000≤ 0.05. Th i s shows that there is a significant influence on the results of the study of physics learning model using ROPES with the technique of Talking Stick. Research hypothesis test 2 test results showed that the Independent Samples T-test acquired Sig. (2-tailed) for 0.000 ≤ 0.05. This shows that there is a significant influence of the science process skills students use learning ROPES with the technique of Talking Stick.
