Tobacco dust that is inhaled continuously causes accumulation of dust in the respiratory tract which causes inflammation and produce fibrotic tissue than can reduce lung expansion (restriction). Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) in the spirometry results are used as a parameter for pulmonary restriction disorder patterns. The study aims to determine the differences of FVC in menopausal women and women of childbearing age tobacco factory workers. This type of research is observational analytic cross-sectional study design. The sample of this study are menopausal women workers and women of childbearing age who work in the tobacco factory production. Data collection was carried out interviews with questionnaires, and FVC data were obtained from spirometry examination results. This research use observational analytic cross-sectional study design and Unpaired T-test. Data collection on individual characteristics was carried out with questionnaires, while FVC data were obtained from spirometry. The results showed that the majority of female tobacco factory workers experienced a decrease in FVC value in the form of pulmonary restriction and there was a significant difference of FVC values between menopausal women and women of childbearing age in tobacco factory workers.
