To determine the influence of the educational background to the improvement of early childhood tutor competence in Kendari, Level of competence possessed by a tutor early childhood in Kendari moderate. Each indicator of competence gained the highest mean value on pedagogic competence of 2.47, while the lowest value in the social competence of 2.31. The standard deviation of the highest value on social competence by 0758, while the value of the lowest standard deviation of 0.635 on pedagogical competence. Variances highest value on social competence by 0574, while the lowest value on the pedagogical competence at 0.403. The strength of the relationship between multiple intelligence-based training (X1) to increase professional competence tutor early childhood in Kendari (Y) expressed in the correlation coefficient (r) of 0719 with α = 0:05. Prices F count 277, 936 with the significance 0.000 < 0.05. The strength of the relationship of personality characteristics (X2) to increase professional competence tutor early childhood teachers in Kendari expressed in the correlation coefficient (r) of 0626 with α = 0:05. Price 171 611 F count wit significance 0.000 < 0.005. The strength of the relationship between educational background (X3) to increase competence tutor early childhood teachers in Kendari expressed in the (r) of 0.012 with α = 0:05. Price 16 422 F count with significance 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the analysis of this study significant regression equation, it can be concluded that the plural intelligence based training, personality characteristics and educational background can enhance the professional competence of early childhood tutor in Kendari. The more often tutor training, increasing their competence. .; Penelitian ini bertujuan:(1) Untuk mengetahui kondisi empirik kompetensi tutor Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di kota Kendari, (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh impementasi pelatihan berbasis kecerdasan jamak terhadap peningkatan kompetensi tutor PAUD di Kendari, (3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik kepribadian terhadap peningkatan kompetensi tutor Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Kendari, (4). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi tutor PAUDdiKendari. Tingkat kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh tutor PAUD di Kendari tergolong sedang. Setiap indikator kompetensi memperoleh nilai mean tertinggi pada kompetensi pedagogik sebesar 2,47, sedangkan nilai terendah pada kompetensi social sebesar 2,31. Standar deviasi nilai tertinggi pada kompetensi sosial sebesar 0.758, sedangkan nilai standar deviasi terendah 0,635 pada kompetensi pedagogik. Nilai variances tertinggi pada kompetensi sosial sebesar 0.574, sedangkan nilai terendah pada kompetensi pedagogik sebesar 0,403. Kekuatan hubungan antara pelatihan berbasis kecerdasan jamak (X1) terhadap peningkatan kompetensi tutor PAUD di Kendari (Y) dinyatakan dalam koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0.719 dengan α = 0.05. Harga F hitung 277, 936 dengan signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05. Kekuatan hubungan karakteristik kepribadian (X2) terhadap peningkatan kompetensi tutor PAUD di Kendari dinyatakan dalam koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0.626 dengan α = 0.05. Harga F hitung 171.611 dengan signifikansi 0.000 < 0.005. Kekuatan hubungan antara latar belakang pendidikan (X3) terhadap peningkatan kompetensi tutor PAUD di Kendari dinyatakan dalam koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0.012 dengan α = 0.05. Harga F hitung 16.422 dengan signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis persamaan regresi penelitian ini signifikan, dapat disimpulkan bahwapelatihan berbasis kecerdasan jamak, karakteristik kepribadian, dan latar belakang pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi tutor PAUD di Kendari. Semakin sering tutor mengikuti pelatihan, semakin meningkat kompetesiya.
