| 520 | |a Skripsi ini berjudul "Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah melalui Metode Brainstorming : Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di Kelas XI IIS 4 SMA Kartika XIX-1". Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan penerapan metode Brainstorming dimana kegiatan berupa siswa berpendapat terhadap suatu masalah yang diberikan oleh guru dalam bentuk sebuah Lembar Kerja Siswa. Tujuan utama dari penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa yang rendah terlihat ketika siswa kurang dapat menentukan poin-poin inti dari apa yang menjadi topik permasalahan. Sebagian besar siswa kurang berkontribusi dalam kelompok untuk menjawab permasalahan yang diberikan oleh guru, kurang maksimalnya penggunaan sumber infromasi, terbatasnya analisis jawaban yang diberikan oleh siswa, serta siswa sulit menjawab dengan tepat permasalahan yang diberikan oleh guru. Untuk itu, peneliti mencoba melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan desain dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Desain model ini memiliki beberapa tahapan, yaitu perencanaan (plan), tindakan (act), observasi (observe), dan diakhiri dengan refleksi (reflect). Selain itu, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Sedangkan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah catatan lapangan, pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan Lembar Kerja Siswa. Berdasarkan pada penelitian ini, penerapan metode pembelajaran Brainstroming dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di Kelas XI IIS 4 SMA Kartika XIX-1 dengan peningkatan presntase di setiap siklusnya. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala selama dilaksanakannya peneltian terutama terbatasnya sumber informasi yang digunakan oleh siswa selama pembelajaran di kelas. ; This thesis is entitled "The Efforts to Improve the Skills of Students` Problem Solving in Learning History through Brainstorming Method: Class Action Research in Class XI IIS 4 Kartika XIX-1Senior High School". This research deals with the application of brainstorming method. The activities are student argues against a problem given by the teacher in the form of a Student Worksheet. The main purpose of the research is to improve the skills in the solving of student problem in learning history. The skills of students`problem solving that are low can be seen when the students get some trouble to define the key points of the topic matter. Most of the students in the group are less contribute to answer the problem given by the teacher, less maximum in the use of sources of information, limited analysis of the answers given by the students, and the students are difficult to answer precisely the problem given by the teacher. Because of that, the writer is trying to do research with the goal of improving the skills of the students' problem solving. The research method used is classroom action research by using the design of Kemmis and Taggart. The design of this model has several stages, namely planning (plan), action (act), observation (observe), and ends with reflection (reflect). In addition, data collection techniques are observation, interview and test. While the data collection tool used were field notes, observation guidelines, interview guides, and Student Worksheet. Based on this research, the application of brainstorming learning methods can improve the skills of students' problem solving in the learning of history in Class XI IIS 4 Kartika XIX-1 Senior High School with the raising of percentage in each cycle. However, there are several obstacles during the implementation of the research especially the limited resources that are used by students during the learning in the classroom. | ||
