Jumlah mahasiswa di Indonesia semakin tahun semakin meningkat, hal ini menunjukan bahwa adanya persaingan yang sangat ketat pada Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia. Dengan adanya klasifikasi dan pemeringkatan Perguruan Tinggi yang diadakan oleh beberapa organisasi juga menunjukan bahwa persaingan yang terjadi sangatlah penting. Hal ini dapat menjadi gambaran calon mahasiswa untuk menentukan pilihannya dalam memilih Perguruan Tinggi. Fenomena tersebut menjadi latarbelakang penelitian ini. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dengan variabel bebas adalah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan memilih (X) dan variabel terikat adalah keputusan memilih UPI (Y). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif, metode explanatory survey, dan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 150 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model dengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 21.0 dan AMOS 22.0.
