Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan alat pendukung praktik pada kompetensi mempergunakan mesin bubut (kompleks) di bengkel pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi penggunaan alat praktik membubut kompleks, serta dokumentasi inventaris alat yang terdapat di bengkel pemesinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum jenis peralatan yang terdapat pada bengkel pemesinan sudah sesuai dengan jenis alat yang dibutuhkan untuk praktik kerja pemesinan bubut kompleks dan berada pada kondisi yang baik. Rasio jumlah alat yang tersedia dengan jumlah siswa ketika praktik sebagian telah memenuhi kriteria rasio ideal yaitu 1 siswa 1 alat. Namun, sebagian alat masih belum memenuhi kriteria rasio ideal yaitu 1 siswa 1 alat. Nilai efisiensi dari penggunaan alat yang disediakan pada saat praktik Job Sheet 1 sebagian besar berada pada kategori tidak efisien karena nilainya sebagian di atas 90% yang mengindikasikan bahwa alat itu jumlahnya kurang. Penggunaan alat praktik pada kompetensi mempergunakan mesin bubut kompleks di bengkel pemesinan SMK Negeri 2 Kota Bandung berada pada kategori cukup baik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pengadaan sarana dan prasarana yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan merupakan hal utama yang harus dilakukan, penyediaan dan perawatan alat praktik harus lebih ditingkatkan agar siswa mendapatkan pengalaman praktik yang lebih banyak sehingga siswa mampu memenuhi tuntutan kompetensi.;--- The research is based on the availability of practical tools in vocational school institutions that does not meet the standard and the practice requirement ratio for students, so that there are students who have a little practice experiences and many students that do not meet the competences, especially the competence of operating complex lathe. This study aimed to find out the operation of practical tools in the competence of perform complex lathe at the machinery workshop SMK Negeri 2 Bandung. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data were collected through interview, observation of the use of complex lathe practical tools, and documentation of tools inventory in the machinery workshop. The results of this research showed that in general the types of tools found in the machinery workshop were in accordance with the types of tools needed for work practices of complex lathe machinery and those tools are in good condition. The ratio of the number of some tools available with the number of students during the practice had met the criteria of ideal ratio, that is 1 student 1 tool. However, the availability of some tools did not meet the ideal ratio criteria of 1 student 1 tool yet. Mostly, the efficiency values of the use of tools provided during the Job Sheet 1 practice were in the category of ineffective because most of its values were above 90%, which indicated that the amount of the tools were inadequate. The use of practical tools in the competence of using the complex lathe machine at the machinery workshop of SMK Negeri 2 Bandung was in good enough category. The implication of this research was that the provision of the facilities and infrastructures which fulfill the needs was the main thing that must be done, the provision and the maintenance of the practice tools should be improved so that the students get more practice experiences in order for them to be able to meet the competence requirement. | ||
