| 520 | |a Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan temuan berupa adanya miskomunikasi saat proses komunikasi terjadi pada Perpustakaan Universitas Pasundan yang berlokasi berjauhan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan efektifitas komunikasi organisasi terhadap kualitas kinerja tenaga perpustakaan, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dan korelasi efektivitas komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja tenaga perpustakaan di Perpustakaan Universitas Pasundan. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data menggunakan angket dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh dan responden berjumlah 31 tenaga perputakaan di Perpustakaan Universitas Pasundan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel efektivitas komunikasi organisasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Pasundan dikategorikan efektif. Pengolahan data menunjukkan sebagian besar kualitas kinerja tenaga perpustakaan Universitas Pasundan disebabkan oleh efektivitas komunikasi organisasi, sedangkan sisanya disebabkan oleh faktor lain. Indikator-indikator dalam variabel efektivitas komunikasi organisasi menunjukkan pada tingkat yang cukup tinggi, sedangkan indikator dalam variabel kualitas kinerja menunjukan beberapa kategori yang berbeda, indikator kerjasamas berada dalam kategori tinggi, indikator kuantitas kerja berada dalam kategori rendah, dan indikator lainnya berada dalam kategori cukup. Penghitungan korelasi menunjukkan bahwa efektifitas komunikasi organisasi dan kualitas kinerja memiliki tingkat korelasi yang tinggi. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kinerja tenaga perpustakaan menjadi lebih berkualitas ketika komunikasi organisasi di perpustakaan pun efektif, berkualitas dan berjalan dengan baik. Meningkatnya efektivitas komunikasi organisasi menjadikan pemahaman tenaga perpustakaan lebih baik dan berati menjadikan kinerja tenaga perpustakaan meningkat pula dengan kata lain pencapaian tujuan perpustakaan dapat diraih dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. ; ---- Miss communication in University of Pasundan library is the problem. The study is purposed to analyze and to explain the effectiveness of communication of organization and the correlation between its effectiveness toward the performances of library staff in University of Pasundan library. This study collects the data by using questionnaires and saturation sampling, and involves 31 respondents; they are library staffs of University of Pasundan library. The result of the study shows that the variable of the effectiveness of communication of organization in Pasundan University is categorized as effective. The processing data also shows the quality performances of library staffs in Pasundan University is caused by the effectiveness of communication in organization and the remain is caused by other factors. The Indicators on the variable of the effectiveness of communication in organization show at the high level. In contrary, the indicators of the variable quality performances show some categories which are different. The cooperative indicator stands at the high category, while performance indicator stands at the low category; the other indicators are in the sufficient category. The result of counting correlation shows the effectiveness of communication in organization and the quality of library staffs' performances have a high level of correlation score. The study proves that the quality of performances of library staffs will be better when the communication is effective and going smoothly. The improvement of the effectiveness of communication in organization contributes to make the knowledge about the Library staffs' performances to be understandable, and therefore it also affects the performances of library staff to be improved, in another word the purpose of the library can be more effective and efficient to achieve. | ||
