| Summary: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penggunaan model pembelajaran artikulatoris terhadap peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam melafalkan kata-kata bahasa Perancis serta memperoleh data kemampuan pelafalan mahasiswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre-experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen tes dan angket sebagai data sekunder. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 34 mahasiswa semester 1 Departemen Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis UPI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran artikulatoris dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik dengan taraf signifikasi 1% diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel (7,49 > 2,445). Hal ini didukung oleh hasil angket bahwa seluruh responden menganggap model artikulatoris dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan mempermudah untuk mempelajari pelafalan bahasa Perancis. Jadi, model pembelajaran ini dianggap sesuai dan dapat memudahkan mahasiswa dalam kemampuan melafalkan kata-kata bahasa Perancis. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka saran yang direkomendasikan oleh peneliti adalah kepada mahasiswa yang sedang mempelajari bahasa Perancis agar melakukan latihan pelafalan secara intensif dan kepada pengajar hendaknya dapat memanfaatkan model pembelajaran artikulatoris dalam pembelajaran pelafalan bahasa Perancis karena model ini dapat meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa dalam mempelajari pelafalan dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan mahasiswa.;--- This aim of this research is to describe the process of using articulatory model to increase their pronouncing ability the words in French and student pronunciation ability to obtain data before and after application of the articulatory model. The method used in this research was pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The data was collected through the pretest, post-test and questionnaire as secondary data. The samples in this research are 34 students of the 1st semester French language education department UPI. The results showed that the use of articulatory model increase student pronunciation. Based on the calculation statistic t value score was 7,49 and t table score was 2,445 (7,49 > 2,445) with 1% significance level. This is supported by the results of a questionnaire that all of students consider articulatory models can increase the motivation to learn French pronunciation. According to the result, articulatory model can improve the ability of the students to pronounce the words in French. This model is appropriate and can makes pronouncing the words in French learning easier. From the research that has been done, the suggestions recommended by the researchers are to students who are studying French in order to do exercise the pronunciation intensively and for the teacher should be able to use the model articulatory in learning French pronunciation because this model can enhance student motivation in learning pronunciation, and can improve student pronunciation. |
