STRUKTUR DAN NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM NOVEL BERTOKOH DAHLAN ISKAN SERTA PEMANFAATANNYA SEBAGAI BUKU PENGAYAAN PENGETAHUAN NOVEL DI SMA/MA

| Summary: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) struktur novel bertokoh Dahlan Iskan karya Khrisna Pabichara; (2) nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel bertokoh Dahlan Iskan karya Khrisna Pabichara; dan (3) bentuk buku pengayaan pengetahuan tentang novel dengan menggunakan hasil analisis novel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif analisis isi dengan pendekatan sastra struktural. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Sepatu Dahlan dan Surat Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) analisis struktur novel; alur yang digunakan dalam novel Sepatu Dahlan dan Surat Dahlan adalah alur mundur atau sorot balik. Tokoh utama dalam kedua novel tersebut adalah Dahlan Iskan. Latar cerita dalam novel Sepatu Dahlan yang mendominasi ialah tempat-tempat yang berada di Magetan, sementara dalam novel Surat Dahlan ialah tempat-tempat yang berada di Samarinda dan Surabaya. Tema yang mendasari kedua novel adalah perjuangan untuk meraih mimpi dan pencarian jati diri. Sudut pandang yang digunakan adalah sudut pandang orang pertama-utama; struktur teks novel bertokoh Dahlan Iskan terdiri atas pengenalan situasi cerita (exposition, orientasi), pengungkapan peristiwa, menuju konflik (rising action), puncak konflik (turning point, komplikasi), dan penyelesaian (evaluasi, resolusi); (2) nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel bertokoh Dahlan Iskan meliputi nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab; dan (3) hasil analisis dimanfaatkan untuk menyusun buku pengayaan pengetahuan tentang novel di SMA/MA. ; ---- This research aims to describe: (1) structure in the novels Dahlan Iskan as main character by Khrisna Pabichara; (2) the educational value of the character in the novels Dahlan Iskan as main character by Khrisna Pabichara; and (3) form enrichment book of knowledge about novel in High School using the result of analysis. Methods used in this research is qualitative of content analysis with structural literary approach. The main data source is novel Sepatu Dahlan and Surat Dahlan by Khrisna Pabichara. The results showed that: (1) analysis of novels structure; grooves used in novel of Sepatu Dahlan and Surat Dahlan are groove flashback. The main character in the novels is Dahlan Iskan. Background of the novel that dominates in Sepatu Dahlan is places ini Magetan, while in the novel Surat Dahlan is places in Samarinda and Surabaya. The underlying theme of the novel is the struggle to achieve a dream and search for identity. Viewing angles are used is a first person perspective-major; text structure in the novels Dahlan Iskan as main character consist of exposition or orientation, disclosure of events, rising action, turning point, and evaluation or resolution; (2) the educational value of the character in the novels of Dahlan Iskan as main character includes religious, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, love of country, respect for the achievements, friends/communicative, likes to read, care for the environment, caring social, and responsibility; and (3) the results of the analysis used to compile enrichment book of knowledge about novel in High School. |
