| 520 | |a Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya penggunaan abreviasi atau pemendekan kata dalam ranah olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan (1) bentuk kependekan yang digunakan dalam ranah olahraga; (2) proses abreviasi dalam ranah olahraga; dan (3) makna kependekan yang digunakan dalam ranah olahraga. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah morfosemantik, sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik catat dan teknik dokumentasi tertulis. Adapun hasil temuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) berdasarkan bentuk kependekannya, dari 71 data terdapat 22 data berbentuk singkatan dan 49 data berbentuk akronim; (2) berdasarkan proses pembentukannya,dalam bentuk singkatan terdapat 19 data dengan proses abreviasi pengekalan huruf pertama tiap komponen dan 3 data dengan proses abreviasi pengekalan huruf pertama dengan pelesapan konjungsi, preposisi, reduplikasi dan preposisi, serta artikulasi dan kata. Dalam bentuk akronim terdapat 3 data dengan proses abreviasi pengekalan suku pertama tiap komponen; 12 data dengan proses pengekalan huruf pertama tiap komponen; 1 data pengekalan tiga huruf pertama tiap komponen; 28 data dengan proses pengekalan berbagai huruf dan suku yang sukar dirumuskan; 3 data dengan proses pengekalan huruf pertama dengan pelesapan konjungsi, preposisi, reduplikasi dan preposisi, serta artikulasi dan kata; 2 data dengan proses pengekalan suku pertama dari komponen pertama dan huruf pertama dari komponen selanjutnya; (3) berdasarkan jenis makna, ditemukan 67 data dengan makna khusus, yaitu makna yang hanya terdapat dalam ranah olahraga dan 4 data dengan makna umum.;--- This research is motivated by the heavy use of abbreviation or shortening of the word in the field of sports. This study aims to identify and describe (1) formsof shortening used in the realm of sport; (2) the abbreviations in the field of sport; and (3) the meaning of the abbreviations used in the field of sports. The approach used in this study is morphosemantics, whereas the method used is descriptive qualitative method. In this study, the data collection techniques are noting and written documentation. The findings of this study were (1) based on the form of shortening, from 71 the data there are 22 data in the form of abbreviations and 49 data in the form of acronym; (2) based on the process of formation, in abbreviated form there are 19 data by the abbreviation process of perpetuation of the first letter of each component and 3 data with the process of perpetuation of the first letter of each component with the deletion of conjunctions, prepositions, and prepositions reduplication, as well as the articulation and words.In the form of an acronym, there are 3 data by the abbreviation process of perpetuation of the first syllable of each component; 12 data with the perpetuation of the first letter of each component; 1 data with the perpetuation of the first three letters of each component; 28 data with theperpetuation of various lettersand syllable which are difficult to formulate; 3 data with the perpetuation of the first letter withthe deletion of conjunctions, prepositions, and prepositions reduplication, as well as the articulation and words; 2 data with the perpetuation of the first term of the first component and the first letter of the next component; (3) based on the type of meaning, found 67 data with special meanings, that meanings only in the field of sports and 4 data with the general meanings. | ||
