Summary:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika dengan model ASSURE berbantuan software Autograph ditinjau dari keseluruhan dan kategori kemampuan awal matematikanya. Desain penelitian ini adalah kelompok ekperimen dengan kelompok kontrol pretes dan postes. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan model ASSURE berbantuan software Autograph dan kelompok kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan model konvensional. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, skala sikap motivasi belajar siswa, lembar observasi, dan pedoman wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dengan populasi penelitian seluruh siswa di salah satu SMP Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Subang Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dan sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIII pada salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Subang sebanyak 2 kelas. Analisis terhadap data penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan terhadap rataan gain ternormalisasi antara kedua kelompok sampel dengan menggunakan Uji Anova satu jalur. Analisis data kualitatif dilakukan untuk menelaah aktivitas siswa dan guru selama pembelajaran serta sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan model ASSURE berbantuan software Autograph. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan model ASSURE berbantuan software Autograph dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar siswa SMP ditinjau dari pembelajaran dan kategori kemampuan matematika siswa berbeda secara signifikan.;---This study aims to examine the improvement of critical thinking skills and learning motivation of students who get learning mathematics with learning model ASSURE assisted Autograph software reviewed from the overall and the category of early ability of mathematics. In addition, to reveal student activities in learning, as well as student attitudes toward learning mathematics with ASSURE model assisted Autograph software.. The design of this study was experimental group with pretest and postes control group. The experimental group obtained a mathematics learning with ASSURE-assisted model Autograph software and the control group acquired the mathematics learning with the conventional model.. Data of research result obtained by through critical thinking ability test, attitude scale of student's learning motivation, observation sheet, and interview guide. This research was conducted at Junior High School level with research population in one of junior high school student in Subang Regency of Lesson Year 2016/2017 and sample of student study of class VIII in one of junior high school in Subang Regency as many as 2 classes. The analysis of the research data is done quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data analysis was performed on the normalized gain between the two sample groups using a one-way anova test. Qualitative data analysis was conducted to examine the activities of students and teachers during the learning and student attitudes toward learning mathematics with ASSURE model assisted Autograph software. The result of the research shows that the learning of mathematics with ASSURE model with the aid of Autograph software can improve the ability of critical thinking and motivation of learning of junior high school students in terms of learning and categories of students' math skills. Mathematical learning using ASSURE-assisted model Autograph software is significantly better in improving critical thinking skills and motivation of junior high school students compared with conventional models.
