Computer Based-Test appears as the improvement in assessment which offer many advantages and provide valid assessment for critical thinking. Critical thinking can be an important aspect to build higher order thinking in Indonesia. The ability to think critically is one essential aspect for success in the contemporary world where the rate at which new knowledge created is rapidly accelerating. The purpose of this study was to investigate Science Virtual Test (Computer-Based Test) as the instrument to assess students' critical thinking on digestive system topic for 8th grade. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The participant was 98 students from Junior High School "X" in East Bandung. The Science Virtual Test consist of 30 questions which cover 26 sub elements of Inch's Critical Thinking on the topic of digestive system. The data results were analyzed by Anatest Program Version 4.1.0. and IBM SPSS Statistic Version 23. The result shows that Science virtual Test which is used as the instrument has a high cronbach's alpha and prosperous validity. It means Science Virtual Test can be used to assess students' critical thinking. The critical thinking average score of students was 59,15 which categorized into moderate achiever. The element of Inch's Critical Thingking which gain the highest score was point of view and the lowest score was concept. Generally students did not encounter significant problem when implementing Science Virtual Test. Students also have a good and positive impression during and after using Science Virtual Test. Generally, Science Virtual Test was well implemented to assess studets' critical on digestive system topic for 8th grade. Key Words : Science Virtual Test, Inch's Critical Thinking, Digestive System, Students' Impression. ABSTRACT Kemajuan teknologi secara signifikan sudah mendukung perkembangan pada bidang penilaian. Uji Berbasis Komputer hadir sebagai kemajuan dalam bidang penilaian yang menawarkan banyak keuntungan dan menyediakan tes yang valid untuk penilaian kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat menjadi aspek penting dalam membangun pemikiran tingkat tinggi di Indonesia. Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu aspek penting untuk kesuksesan di dunia kontemporer dimana pengetahuan baru yang tercipta meningkat dengan cepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meneliti Science Virtual Test (Uji Berbasis Komputer) sebagai instrumen untuk menilai kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada topik sistem pencernaan untuk kelas 8. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Peserta berjumlah 98 siswa dari SMP "X" di Bandung Timur. Science Virtual Test terdiri dari 30 pertanyaan yang mencakup 26 sub elemen berpikir kritis dari Inch pada topik sistem pencernaan. Hasil data dianalisis dengan mengunakan program Anatest versi 4.1.0. dan IBM SPSS Statistic versi 23. Hasil penilitian menunjukan bahwa Science Virtual Test yang digunakan sebagai instrumen memiliki nilai alpha cronbach yang tinggi dan validitas yang sedang. Artinya, Science Virtual Test dapat digunakan untuk menilai kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Skor rata-rata berpikir kritis siswa adalah 59,15 yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. Elemen berpikir kritis dari Inch yang mendapatkan nilai tertinggi adalah sudut pandang dan elemen dengan skor terendah adalah konsep. Umumnya siswa tidak mengalami masalah yang signifikan saat mengimplementasikan Science Virtual Test. Siswa juga mengalami hal positif selama dan setelah menggunakan Science Virtual Test. Secara umum, Science Virtual Test diimplementasikan dengan baik untuk menilai kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap topik sistem pencernaan untuk kelas 8.
