| 520 | |a Latar Belakang penelitian ini ialah perlunya inovasi pada pendidikan pemustaka yang dilaksanakan oleh perpustakaan sekolah dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keefektivitasan vlog sebagai media pendidikan pemustaka terhadap kemampuan pemustaka dalam penelusuran informasi di Perpustakaan SMA N 5 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ini ialah pre eksperimental pada satu kelompok sampel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 10 SMA N 5 Bandung. Sampel pada penelitian ini ialah kelas 10-G yang menerima pendidikan pemustaka dengan materi penelusuran informasi melalui media vlog. Dalam penelitian ini data diperoleh dari hasil pretes dan postes, serta lembar observasi dang angket untuk melangkapi data terkait gambaran vlog dan pelaksanaan pendidikan pemustaka. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini ialah vlog pendidikan pemustaka berupa channel pendidikan pemustaka perpustakaan SMA N 5 Bandung pada situs youtube, yang memuat video asinkron berisi materi penelusuran informasi. Pendidikan pemustaka dilaksanakan melalui vlog, dimana pemustaka dapat mengaksesnya masing-masing melalui alamat URL yang disediakan Terdapat efektivitas vlog sebagai media pendidikan pemustaka terhadap kemampuan penelusuran infortmasi di perpustakaan, yang ditunjukan dari perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan awal dan kemampuan akhir penelusuran informasi. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan pemustaka, penelusuran informasi, vlog, This research was motivated by the existence of social media trends in the form of online media, which can become an innovation in a library. This study was aimed to discover the effectiveness of a vlog as users education media on the information seeking ability in library of SMAN 5 Bandung. The research method used in this study was a pre experimental on a sample group. The population in this research was students from class 10 (ten) of SMAN 5 Bandung. The sample of this research was the 10-G class students that received user education with the material for information searching through a vlog. In this research, the data were collected from pre-test and post-test results, an observation sheet, and a questionnaire in order to complete the data related to vlog description and the implementation of user education. The conclusion obtained from this research was that user education vlog in the form of SMA N 5 Bandung library user education on youtube site, load asyncron video containing information seeking material. User education implemented trough vlog, where user's can acces each by the URL addres that has been provide. There were an effectivity of vlog as a user education media on the information seeking ability in a library, which was shown from a significant difference between the initial ability and final ability on the information searching.
