| 520 | |a Penelitian ini mengungkap gambaran umum mengenai Kesiapan Mahasiswa Terhadap Kompetensi Profesional dan Sosial Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sebagai Calon Guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bidang Keahlian Teknik Bangunan dalam pelaksanaan Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL). Karena kompetensi profesional dan sosial merupakan salah satu faktor yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa sebagai calon guru, dimana kompetensi profesional adalah kemampuan penguasaan materi pelajaran secara luas dan mendalam, kompetensi sosial dalam kegiatan belajar ini berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan guru dalam bekomunikasi dengan masyarakat di sekitar sekolah dan masyarakat tempat guru tinggal sehingga peranan dan cara guru berkomunikasi di masyarakat diharapkan memiliki karakteristik tersendiri yang sedikit banyak berbeda dengan orang lain yang bukan guru. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket (kuesioner). Angket tersebut disebarkan kepada 28 responden sampel penelitian yang merupakan perwakilan dari 37 mahasiswa yang sedang melaksanakan PPL yang ditetapkan sebagai populasi dalam penelitian ini. Data yang didapat melalui penyebaran angket kemudian diuji kecenderungannya untuk mendapatkan gambaran umum tentang Kesiapan Mahasiswa Tentang Kompetensi Profesional dan Sosial Mahasiswa PRODI PTB DPTS FPTK UPI sebagai Calon Guru SMK Bidang Keahlian Teknik Bangunan. Dari hasil pengolahan data didapatkan jawaban untuk permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, dimana Kesiapan Mahasiswa Terhadap Kompetensi Profesional Mahasiswa PRODI PTB DPTS FPTK UPI sebagai Calon Guru SMK Bidang Keahlian Teknik Bangunan tergolong cukup tinggi persentase 25%, dan untuk Kesiapan Mahasiswa Terhadap Kompetensi Sosial Mahasiswa PRODI PTB DPTS FPTK UPI sebagai Calon Guru SMK Bidang Keahlian Teknik Bangunan tergolong cukup tinggi dengan persentase 36%.---------- This study reveals general idea of the readiness of the students of Construction Engineering study program in Civil Engineering Education Department of Technology and Vocational Education Faculty as the future construction engineering teachers in vocational school while working on an internship (PPL). As the professional and social competency is one of the factors that should be mastered by students as future teachers - in which professional competency is the ability of mastering learning material deeply while social competency in learning activity is related to the teachers' ability to communicate with both the community around the school and the neighborhood where the teachers live - teachers are expected to have unique characteristics that are much different from those who are not teachers. This research uses descriptive research method with quantitative approach, and questionnaire sheets are used to collect data. The questionnaire sheets are given to 28 respondents, which represent 37 students who do internship (PPL), making them the population of this research. Then, this collected data is getting tested to get general idea about the readiness of the students of Construction Engineering study program in civil engineering education department of technology and vocational education faculty as the future construction engineering teachers in vocational school. As the result of the data processing, it can be concluded that the readiness of the students of Construction Engineering study program in civil engineering education department of technology and vocational education faculty as the future construction engineering teachers in vocational school is quite high, around 25% in Professional Competency and 36% in Social Competency. | ||
