520 |a This papper aims to assess the use of technique Brainstorming in French speaking skills learning process for students of French Departement in 3rd years (B1) and in order to find out the use of this technique in French learning process in further. Through the application of this technique, students are expected to be more motivated to practice and play an active role in speaking French. The results showed that the brainstorming technique can be implemented in the speaking class as the technique is quite simple, innovative, and interesting ----- Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan teknik Brainstorming (curah pendapat) dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Prancis pada mahasiswa semester 5 (B1), dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan teknik ini dalam pembelajaran itu sendiri. Dengan menggunakan teknik ini diharapkan mahasiswa dapat lebih termotivasi untuk berlatih dan berperan aktif dalam berbicara bahasa Prancis. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa teknik brainstorming dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah production orale karena teknik ini sangat mudah, inovatif, dan membuat proses belajar mengajar tidak membosankan
