Summary:The background of this research is the rarity of a primary school that remains consistent with an extracurricular activity. Not just extracurricular activities, but this activity is as a form of maintaining a Sundanese tradition art. Ideally a student following an extracurricular activity is to develop his interests and talents. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the interest of students follow the extracurricular activities of traditional ceremony art of welcoming guests in elementary school. The purpose of this study is to describe the interest of students following the extracurricular activities of traditional ceremony art welcoming guests in elementary school. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research instrument used is interview and questionnaire. Based on the data of the research results showed that the interest of students following the extracurricular activities of traditional ceremony art of welcoming guests in primary school is very high. This is indicated by the percentage of each indicator starting from the highest indicator of interest to reach 95.5%, happy feeling reached 93.2%, involvement reached 88.2%, and attention 79.5%.---- Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah sangat jarangnya sebuah sekolah dasar yang tetap konsisten terhadap sebuah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Bukan sekedar kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, tetapi kegiatan ini adalah sebagai bentuk mempertahankan sebuah seni tradisi sunda. Idealnya seorang siswa mengikuti sebuah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah untuk mengembangkan minat dan bakat yang dimilikinya. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana minat siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni upacara adat penyambutan tamu di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan minat siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni upacara adat penyambutan tamu di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara dan angket. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa minat siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni upacara adat penyambutan tamu di sekolah dasar sangat tinggi. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan perolehan persentase setiap indikator dimulai dari indikator yang tertinggi yaitu ketertarikan mencapai 95,5%, perasaan senang mencapai 93,2%, keterlibatan mencapai 88,2%, dan perhatian 79,5%.
