| Summary: | Tesis ini berjudul Musik Tradisional dalam Ritus Liatn pada Masyarakat Dayak Kanayatn. Masalah penelitian adalah, "bagaimanakah konsep, prosesi, struktur, dan fungsi dalam ritus liatn?'. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis masalah di atas. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah prosesi ritus liatn, motif tabuhan, dan pelaku ritus Liatn, dan data penelitian adalah motif tabuhan dan prosesi ritus Liatn. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dan wawancara. Alat penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama, dilengkapi kamera foto, video, lembar observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, display data, dan penyimpulan data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prosesi ritus Liatn berlangsung dalam tiga tahap yaitu, bagian awal, bagian inti, dan bagian akhir. Struktur penyajian musik terdiri dari sajian musik yang terdengar, pengaruh bunyi musik, penampilan para pemain dan panggung serta pembuatan notasi musik khusus Dayak Kanayatn. Fungsi musik ritus Liatn adalah sarana pengatur gerak tari dan nyanyian magis dan menuju keadaan transendental bagi Pamaliatn.---- The title of this thesis is Traditional Music in Liatn Rite at Dayak Kanayatn people. The research problem is, "how are the concept, procession, structure, and function of Liatn rite? The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the problems above. The research methodology is descriptive methodology and qualitative research. The sources of data collection are procession of Liatn rite, the motif of the percussion, and the people who do Liatn rite, and the data collection are the motif of the percussion and the procession of Liatn rite. The data collection uses observation technique, and interview. Tool of data collection are the researcher himself as the main instrument, with pictures, videos, observation sheet, and field note. The technique of data analysis was conducted through data reduction, display of the data, and the data conclusion. The finding of this research shows that procession of Liatn rite took 3 cycles, which consists of the introduction part, the main part, and the closing part. The structure of music presentation consists of music presentation, the influences of music, performance of the performer and the stage and also the making of Dayak Kanayatn special music notation. The function of Liatn rite is a tool of organizing dance movements and magical singing towards transcendental situation for Pamaliatn. |
