Change gear tersusun dari beberapa komponen seperti, roda gigi 120 dengan dimensi Ø152,5 mm × 8 mm, roda gigi 127 dengan dimensi Ø161,25 mm × 8 mm, rumah ball bearing dengan dimensi Ø62 mm × 32 mm dan pasak dengan dimensi 6 mm × 6 mm × 26 mm. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahan, waktu dan biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk pembuatan komponen change gear untuk mesin bubut knuth basic plus. Dalam proses pembuatannya material yang digunakan adalah baja S45C dan ST37. Baja S45C digunakan untuk pembuatan roda gigi 120 dan 127, sedangkan baja ST37 digunakan untuk pembuatan rumah ball bearing dan pasak. Proses pemesinan untuk pembuatan komponen change gear untuk mesin bubut knuth basic plus meliputi proses bubut dan proses frais. Secara teoritis total waktu dan biaya produksi yang dibutuhkan adalah 8,73 jam dan Rp 861.998,85. ABSTRACT Fajar Ali Muthahhari / 1405586 PEMBUATAN KOMPONEN CHANGE GEAR UNTUK MESIN BUBUT KNUTH BASIC PLUS This paper discusses about making of a change gear components for a lathe machine type knuth basic plus. The change gear composed of several component such as gear 120 with dimensions of Ø152,5 mm × 8 mm, gear 127 with dimensions of Ø161,25 mm × 8 mm, ball bearing housing with dimensions Ø62 mm × 32 mm and key with dimensions of 6 mm × 6 mm × 26 mm. The purpose of this paper is to know the material, time and cost needed for making change gear component for a lathe machine type knuth basic plus. In the making process the material used are steel S45C and ST37. The steel S45C is used for making gear 120 and 127, while the steel ST37 is used for making ball bearing housing and key. The machining process for making a change gear component for a lathe machine type knuth basic plus includes lathe and milling process. Theoretically the total time and cost production needed is 8,73 hours and Rp 861.998,85.
