| 520 | |a Abstrak Urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan konsep cinta dalam Alquran yang meliputi hakikat cinta, karakteristik manusia yang dicintai Allāh. Keunggulan penelitian ini yaitu membahas secara cukup komprehensif mengenai cinta perspektif Alquran yang kemudian ditarik implikasinya terhadap teori pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode tafsir mawḍū'i yang merujuk kepada sembilan tafsir Alquran. Dalam pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik studi pustaka (library research). Dari temuan yang selanjutnya dianalisis, ditemukan bahwa cinta yang dimaksud dalam Alquran berkaitan dengan Allāh sebagai subjek yakni curahan kebaikan yang tidak pernah putus diberikan sebagai bentuk kemurahan-Nya agar sistem kehidupan ini berjalan dengan kondusif dan penuh dengan ketenteraman serta keteraturan. Sementara itu, cinta manusia kepada Allāh Swt. merupakan wujud reaksi atas aksi cinta Allāh terlebih dahulu yang telah memberikan hal tersebut terhadap hamba-Nya. Adapun di antara sebagian dari karakteristik manusia yang dicintai Allāh berdasarkan ayat-ayat yang telah diinventarisir yaitu: 1) mengikuti Rasululāh saw., 2) bertakwa kepada Allāh, 3) berbuat baik, 4) sabar, 5) tawakal, 6) adil, 7) berperang dalam barisan yang teratur, 8) lemah lembut terhadap orang mukmin, dan 9) tidak takut terhadap celaan orang-orang. Sementara itu, rumusan konsep cinta dalam Alquran ini memiliki implikasi terhadap teori pendidikan Islam. Implikasi paling dominan dari konsep cinta dalam Alquran terhadap teori pendidikan Islam ini yaitu memberikan inspirasi terhadap bagaimana seharusnya pendidik dan peserta didik membangun komunikasi edukatif di antara keduanya secara ideal, yakni dengan mengedepankan cinta kasih ketimbang emosi terlebih perlakuan yang kasar. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan mengkategorisasi tema cinta dengan term lain sehingga diperoleh gambaran lengkap mengenai tema ini di dalam Alquran. Kata kunci: Cinta, Alquran, Pendidikan Islam Abstract The urgency of this research is to formulate the concept of love in the Qur'an covering the nature of love, human characteristics that are loved by Allāh. The excellence of this research is discussing quite comprehensively about the love of the Qur'anic perspective then the implications are drawn for the theory of Islamic education. This research using a qualitative approach and the interpretation method mawḍū'i which refers to nine Qur'anic interpretations. The data collection using library research study techniques. From the findings analyzed, it was found that the love referred to in the Qur'an is related to Allāh as a subject, namely the never-ending outpouring of goodness is given as a form of his mercy so that this life system runs conducive and full of peace and regularity. Meanwhile, human love for Allāh Swt. is a form reaction to the act of love Allāh had given it to his servant. As for some of the human characteristics that Allah loved based on the verses that have been inventoried, namely: 1) following Rasululāh saw., 2) fear of Allah, 3) do good, 4) patience, 5) tawakal, 6) fair, 7) fight in a regular line, 8) gentle towards believers, and 9) not afraid against people's reproach. Meanwhile, the formulation of the concept of love in this Qur'an has implications for the theory of islamic education. The most dominant implications of the concept of love in the Qur'an towards the theory of Islamic education is to give inspiration for how educators and students should build Educative communication between the two is ideal, namely by prioritizing love rather than emotion especially harsh treatment. For further researchers expected to categorize the theme of love with other terms to obtain an overview complete about this theme in the Qur'an.
