| 520 | |a Indonesia di tahun 2019 ini tengah dihadapkan oleh Pemilihan Umum yang akan dilaksanakan secara serentak yang memuat pemilihan anggota legislatif dan Pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden. Namun saat ini konsentrasi masyarakat cendrung terfokus kepada pilpres semata bahkan kondisi masyarakat saat ini cendrung terpolarisasi disebabkan oleh perbedaan pilihan capres dan cawapres yang pada pilpres kali ini diikuti oleh dua pasang calon yaitu calon 01 Joko Widodo dan KH. Ma'ruf Amin, calon 02 Prabowo Subianto dan Sandiaga Uno. Memperhatikan fenomena tersebut maka dibutuhkan pandangan yang objektif dan indepeden untuk mempersepsikan kedua capres dan cawapres tersebut sebagai dasar dalam memutuskan pilihan. Salah satu kelompok yang dipandang mampu mempersepsikan kedua calon tersebut adalah mahasiswa yang dikenal sebagai insan intelektual dan kritis terhadap kondisi sosial dan politik negeri.Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini membahas bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap capres dan cawapres pada pilpres 2019 di kota Bandung. Dengan rumusan masalah sebagai berikut; (1), Bagaimana persepsi yang terbentuk di kalangan mahasiswa mengenai capres dan cawapres pada pilpres 2019?; (2), Apa saja faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa dalam mempersepsikan capres dan cawapres pada pilpres 2019?, (3), Bagaimana kecendrungan perilaku politik mahasiswa sebagai pemilih dalam pilpres 2019?; (4), Bagaimana antusiasme mahasiswa dalam berpartisipasi menggunakan hak pilihnya pada pilpres 2019? Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa; pertama persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kedua capres dan cawapres menunjukan kekecewaan. Mahasiswa merasa tidak puas dengan kedua calon sebab mahasiswa memandang kedua calon belum memberikan gambaran yang jelas akan gagasan dan program yang di usung, kedua secara umum faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa adalah kemampuan fisiologis dalam menerima setiap informasi yang beredar, perhatian, dan pengalaman, ketiga mahasiswa cendrung memiliki perilaku politik yang sesuai dengan model psikologis, mahasiswa memiliki keutamaan pada aspek psikologis dalam mempertimbangkan pilihannya, keempat antusiasme mahasiswa dalam menggunakan hak pilihnya masih tergolong rendah karena hingga dengan saat ini mahasiswa merasa bahwa kedua calon belum mampu meyakinkan mereka dengan segala penawarannya. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Mahasiswa, Calon Presiden dan Calon Wakil Presiden ABSTRACT Yan Mahdi Muhamad (1507242) Student Perceptions Of Presidential And Vice-Presidential Candidates In The Presidential And Vice-Presidential Elections 2019 In The City Of Bandung Indonesia in 2019 is facing a general election which will be held simultaneously which includes the election of legislators and the election of the President and Vice President. But now the concentration of society tends to be focused on the presidential election even though the current condition of society tends to be polarized due to differences in the choice of presidential and vice presidential candidates who in this election were followed by two pairs of candidates namely candidates 01 Joko Widodo and KH. Ma'ruf Amin, candidate 02 Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno. Taking into account this phenomenon, an objective and independent view is needed to perceive the two presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates as the basis for deciding choices. One group that is considered capable of perceiving the two candidates is students who are known as intellectual people and are critical of the country's social and political conditions. Based on this, this study discusses how students perceive candidates and vice presidential candidates in the 2019 presidential election in the city of Bandung. With the formulation of the problem as follows; (1), What perceptions are formed among students regarding presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2019 presidential election ?; (2), What are the factors that influence students in perceiving presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2019 presidential election ?, (3), What is the tendency of students' political behavior as voters in the 2019 presidential election ?; (4), How is the enthusiasm of students to participate in using their voting rights in the 2019 presidential election? The approach used in the study is qualitative using a case study method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation studies, literature studies. The results of this study suggest that; first, the students' perceptions of the two presidential and vice presidential candidates showed disappointment. Students feel dissatisfied with the two candidates because students perceive the two candidates have not given a clear picture of ideas and programs that are stretched, secondly in general the factors that influence student perceptions are the physiological ability to receive any outstanding information, attention, and experience. the three students tend to have political behavior that is in accordance with the psychological model, students have a priority on the psychological aspects in considering their choices, fourthly the enthusiasm of students in exercising their right to vote is still low because until now students feel that the two candidates have not been able to convince them with all their offers.
