Medium relief bisa berbentuk apa saja seperti perunggu, batu, marmer, kayu dan lain-lain. Alat yang digunakan juga bisa bermacam-macam, dengan syarat bisa memberikan kesan atau imaji tertentu kepada media yang digunakan. Peraih Penghargaan Nobel Kategori Kesusastraan dipilih sebagai subject matter karena ketertarikan penulis terhadap tokoh-tokoh yang dapat menginspirasi seperti Gao Xingjian, John M. Coatzee, Mario Vargas Llosa, Orhan Pamuk, Mo Yan, Patrick Modiano dan Bob Dylan. Dengan rumusan masalah yaitu proses gagasan berkarya seni relief dengan teknik cukil berbahan kayu dan bagaimana visualisasi estetis tokoh peraih penghargaan nobel kategori kesusastraan ke dalam bentuk karya seni relief dengan teknik cukil berbahan kayu. Metode penciptaan dimulai dari ide berkarya, kontemplasi, stimulus, dan proses berkarya. Hasil akhir dari penciptaan karya ini yaitu karya berbentuk relief datar yang objeknya memiliki kedalaman yang berbeda dengan eksplorasi alat dan bahan. Dengan adanya karya relief menggunakan teknik cukil berbahan kayu ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi bahwa dalam membuat karya seni rupa tidak harus menggunakan bahan yang konvensional.;--- Relief is one of the branches of fine arts. Relief can also be described as the activity of processing three-dimensional medium or surface of the three-dimensional object to get a certain impression. Medium relief can be anything like bronze, stone, marble, wood and others. Tools used can also vary, provided that can give a particular impression or image to the media used. Nobel Prize laureate The Literature Category was chosen as subject matter because of the writer's interest in inspiring characters such as Gao Xingjian, John M. Coatzee, Mario Vargas Llosa, Orhan Pamuk, Mo Yan, Patrick Modiano and Bob Dylan. With the formulation of the problem is the process of artwork relief works with woodcut based techniques and how the aesthetic visualization of award-winning nobel prize literary category into the form of artwork relief with woodcut cukil techniques. Creation method begins with the idea of work, contemplation, stimulus, and the process of work. The end result of the creation of this work is a flat relief work whose object has a different depth to the exploration of tools and materials. With the work of reliefs using woodcut techniques is expected to inspire that in making works of art does not have to use conventional materials. | ||
