Dr. Setiabudhi No. 229, Bandung 40154, Indonesia e-mail: tonyhartono@upi.edu1, Berliana@upi.edu2, Mulayana@upi.edu3 ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan responsibility siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran teaching personal social responsibility (TPSR) dan direct instruction (DI) ditinjau dari kepribadian introvert dan extrovert siswa. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan desain factorial 2x2. Subjek penelitian pada siswa SD kelas IV berjumlah 32. Teknik random sampling. Instrumen untuk mengukur kepribadian (Eysenck) dan sikap responsibility, menggunakan skala angket personal social respobsibility. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1)Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran TPSR dan DI terhadap peningkatan sikap responsibility, (2) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh siswa dengan kepribadian tipe extrovert yang diberikan model pembelajaran TPSR dan DI terhadap peningkatan sikap responsibility, (3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh siswa dengan kepribadian tipe introvert yang diberikan model pembelajaran TPSR dan DI terhadap peningkatan sikap responsibility, (4) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kepribadian introvert, extrovert terhadap peningkatan sikap responsibility. Penelitian ini menyarankan untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran TPSR dalam meningkatkan responsibility. Dr. Setiabudhi No. 229, Bandung 40154, Indonesia e-mail: tonyhartono@upi.edu1, Berliana@upi.edu2, Mulayana@upi.edu3 ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to improve student responsibility through the application of learning models teaching personal social responsibility (TPSR) and direct instruction (DI) in terms of introvert and extrovert personality of students. The research method was a factorial 2x2 design experiment. The research subjects in grade IV elementary school students were 32. Random sampling technique. Instruments for measuring personality (Eysenck) and attitude of responsibility, using a questionnaire scale personal social responsibility. The results showed that: (1) There were differences in the influence of students who studied with the TPSR and DI learning models on increasing responsibility, (2) There were differences in the influence of students with extrovert type personalities given the TPSR and DI learning models towards increased responsibility, (3) There are differences in the influence of students with introverted type personalities given the TPSR and DI learning models on increasing responsibility, (4) There is an interaction between the learning model and introverted, extroverted personality towards an increase in responsibility. This study suggests using the TPSR learning model in increasing responsibility.
