| Summary: | Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya indikasi gejala celebrity worship dan body image yang ada di kalangan siswa yang menggemari K-pop. Celebrity worship merupakan fenomena pengidolaan individu pada seorang selebriti dan body image merupakan persepsi individu tentang keadaan tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan celebrity worship dengan body image remaja yang mengidolakan K-pop di SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 111 orang remaja yang mengidolakan K-pop, dengan menggunakan sampel purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen celebrity worship dan body image. Pengolahan data menggunakan Rasch pada aplikasi winstep. Hasil penelitian menujukkan kecenderungan celebrity worship berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 43,24%, body image berada pada kategori positif dengan persentase 56,8%, dan terdapat hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara celebrity worship dengan body image. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling dan peneliti selanjutnya. The Relationship Between Celebrity Worship and Body Image Adolescent Who Idolize K-pop ( Correlational Research Of SMP Negeri 45 Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019). The background of this study is to describe the relationship of celebrity worship and body image among student who like K-pop. Celebrity worship is phenomenon of individual admission to a celebrity and body image is individual perception of the state of the body. The research intends to describe the relationship between celebrity worship and body image adolescents who idolize K-pop at SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. The approach that used in this rearch is quantitative and correlational method. The participant are 111 adolescents who idolize K-pop, using a purposive sampling. Data in this research collected using instrument of celebrity worship and body image. proccessing data using the Rasch model in the winstep application. The result of this research signify the celebrity worship in the moderate category with a percentage of 43,24%, body image in the positive category with a percentage of 56,8%, and there was a quite negatively significant relationship between celebrity worship and body image. The result of this research are recommendations for school counselors and future researcher. Key word : Celebrity Worship, Body Image, adolescents, K-pop. |
