Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses desain pembelajaran matematika berbasis ESD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan sikap empati siswa terhadap permasalahan lingkungan, untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap implementasi produk dan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan sikap empati siswa SMK. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode design research dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XI RPL 1 dan empat siswa kelas XII RPL 1 SMKN 4 Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar validasi, lembar uji coba terbatas, lembar observasi, angket respon dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk desain pembelajaran matematika berbasis ESD yang terdiri dari Silabus, RPP, LKS, Instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan angket sikap empati. Kelima produk desain berbasis ESD dikembangkan dan mengalami beberapa kali perbaikan. Setelah produk desain berbasis ESD diimplementasikan terdapat hasil implementasi, berupa respon siswa yang positif terhadap produk desain ESD, terbentuk dan berkembangnya kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dan tumbuhnya sikap empati siswa terhadap permasalahan lingkungan. Meskipun produk desain berbasis ESD pada penelitian ini belum efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMK, namun produk desain berbasis ESD ini masih dapat diperbaharui dan dikembangkan sehingga secara efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan sikap empati siswa SMK. This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematical critical thinking in vocational students, so it needs to be improved. The purpose of this study was to find out how the design process of ESD-based mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical critical thinking abilities and empathy attitudes toward environmental problems, to determine student responses to product implementation and to describe the ability of mathematical critical thinking and empathy attitudes of vocational students. This research was conducted using the design research method with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class XI RPL 1 and four students of class XII RPL 1 SMKN 4 Bandung. The instruments used in this study consisted of validation sheets, limited trial sheets, observation sheets, response questionnaires and interview guidelines. The results of this study are ESD-based mathematics learning design products consisting of syllabi, lesson plans, student worksheets, test instruments for critical thinking skills and empathy attitude questionnaires. The five ESD-based design products were developed and underwent several improvements. After the ESD-based design product is implemented there are implementation results, in the form of positive student responses to ESD design products, the formation and development of students 'mathematical critical thinking abilities and the growth of students' empathy attitudes towards environmental problems. Although ESD-based design products in this study have not been effective in improving the critical thinking abilities of mathematical students of SMK, this ESD-based design product can still be updated and developed so that it can effectively improve the ability of mathematical critical thinking and empathy attitudes of vocational students. | ||
