Dalam metode ini, siswa diarahkan untuk saling bertukar informasi dari ringkasan yang dibuat dalam kelompok kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode cooperative script dengan kelas pembanding yang tidak menggunakan metode tersebut. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan menyimak siswa yang disebabkan banyak faktor, baik faktor dari dalam diri siswa maupun dari luar siswa. Metode penelitan ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-postest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 orang siswa kelas 10 SMA Negeri 5 Cimahi yang terbagi menjadi 30 orang siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 30 orang siswa di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis didapatkan hasil perhitungan ttabel 2.002 dan thitung 4.645, dengan syarat Ha diterima adalah ttabel ≤ thitung ≥ ttabel maka hasil perhitungan tersebut adalah 2.002 ≤ 4.645 ≥ 2.002. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Ha diterima yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil tes akhir menyimak teks eksposisi di kelas eksperimen dan hasil tes akhir di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode cooperative script efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa menyimak teks eksposisi.;--Cooperative script method is part of cooperative method that teaches how students work together to find the full information from teacher's lessons. In this method, the student is directed to through exchange the information from their resume in small group. This research aims to compare the results of student learning in experiment class using cooperative script method, with the control class that does not use such method. This research was backed by the lack of student's listening ability who are due to many factors, both student's internal and external factor. The method of this research is quasi experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this research is 60 students of 10th grade in SMA Negeri 5 Cimahi, who divided by 30 in experiment group and 30 in control group. Based on the hypothesis test results, obtained by the calculation result is ttable 2.002 and tcount 4.645, with the terms ttable ≤ tcount ≥ ttable so the hypothesis result is 2.002 ≤ 4.645 ≥ 2.002. This results means the alternative hypothesis is accepted and there is significant difference between the listening ability in the experiment group's posttest result and the control group's posttest result. Based on result of this research, it can be concluded that cooperative script method is effective to increase student's listening ability in exposition text. | ||
