Penelitian ini menguji cobakan teknik Think-Talk-Write (TTW), dengan media komik tanpa teks dalam menulis teks narasi. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan teknik Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dengan media komik tanpa teks dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media gambar dalam pembelajarannya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 peserta didik kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 20 peserta didik kelas VII J sebagai kelas kontrol di SMP Negeri 44 Bandung tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control grup desaign. Hasil pretest kelas eksperimen menunjukan nilai rata-rata 60, sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 60. Hasil posttest di kelas eksperimen menunjukan nilai rata-rata 70, sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 55. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis diperoleh sig 2 tailed (0,000) < signifikasi (0,05) yang menunjukan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan teknik TTW dengan media komik tanpa teks. Sehingga teknik TTW dengan media komik tanpa teks efektif dalam menulis teks narasi. This research rests on the problem in learning to write narrative texts in formal education. This study tested the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) technique, with comic media without text in writing narrative texts. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a difference between the experimental class that uses the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) technique with comic media without text and the control class that uses image media in its learning. The sample in this study was 20 students of class VII F as an experimental class and 20 students of class VII J as a control class at SMP Negeri 44 Bandung in 2018/2019. This research method uses a quasi-experimental method with a noneignivalent control group desaign research design. The pretest results of the experimental class showed an average value of 60, while the control class with an average value of 60. The posttest results in the experimental class showed an average value of 70, while the control class with an average value of 55. Based on the results of the hypothesis obtained sig 2 tailed (0,000) <significance (0.05) which shows that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. That is, there is a significant difference in the ability of students in learning to write narrative texts before and after the TTW technique is applied with comic media without text. So that the TTW technique with comic media without text is effective in writing narrative texts. |
