Was Borobudur a mandala?
The suggestion that borobudur was a mandala has been considered by many scholars. In a paper presented at the Pertemuan Ilmiah Arkeologi ke-7 at cipanas in March 1996, Marike Klokke advanced her reason why this hypothesis should be rejected.
